Where were you/what were you doing when the 9/11 attacks in New York, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania happened?

I was on a cruise ship in the middle of the Baltic Sea. I had gone to hear a lecture on the Romanovs. The man I sat next to asked me if I had heard about a plane hitting the World Trade Center. I had not, but I remembered that a B-25 had hit the Empire State Building near the end of WWII, so I thought it was another accident. After the lecture, I returned to my stateroom and turned on the TV. It was then that I saw the second plane hit and I knew it was war.
