What would have been different in the different wars after WWII if the United States of America had not participated? Mention at least one specific example.

Korean War (1950–1953) If the U.S. had not intervened, the Korean peninsula would have been united under North Korea. There would have been a huge loss of life in South Korea and the prosperous country we see today would be as big a s***t hole as the North is today.

Laotian Civil War (1953–1975) Communist Pathet Lao, North Vietnam supported by USSR and China won as part of collapse of South Viet-Nam. They won so U.S. intervention was an exercise in futility. Up to 300,000 people fled to Thailand and some 40,000 to 60,000+ were killed.

Bay of Pigs Invasion (1961) Incompetent execution by Kennedy Admin. resulted in failure. If Eisenhower’s original plan had been followed, Cuba would have been freed and a whole lot of people would have been a lot better off. There would have been no Cuban Missal Crisis and Cuba would most likely have returned to the prosperous country it was before Castro took over.

Vietnam War (1965–1973, 1975) Screwed that up too. However, intervention probably saved Thailand. Sure did get a lot of people killed for no good reason except for U.S. politics.

Communist Insurgency in Thailand (1965–1983) Got this one right. Communist insurgency ended in 1983. If we, Taiwan and Malaysia had not helped it might have gone the other way. North Vietnam, China, USSR and North Korea all aided the insurgents.

Dominican Civil War (1965–1966) Military coup led to civil unrest and civil war. Fear of foreign intervention and U.S. troops sent in. Elements of 82nd Airborne, elements of 508th Infantry Division and 6th MEU. Organization of American States was given command and troops from Brazil, Paraguay, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, San Salvador and Honduras participated. Elections were held after coup forces defeated. No telling if power grab by rebels or if USSR via Cuba was involved.

Insurgency in Bolivia (1966–1967) CIA supported Bolivian armed forces. Insurgency defeated and Che Guevara killed. Big win getting rid of that murderous S.O.B. If Guevara had won, Bolivia would have become another communist s***t hole.

Cambodian Civil War (1967–1975) Part of the screwed up Viet Nam War. Our intervention was ineffectual and the undesirable consequence was the Cambodian genocide by the communist lunatic Pol Pot. 1.5 to 3 million died out a population of 7.5 million.

Invasion of Grenada (1983) Military dictatorship of Hudson Austin deposed and Cuban military presence booted out. Return of constitutional Government. Got this one right as well. Been to Grenada and it is quite a pleasant place. If the Cubans has stayed, just another communist s***t hole.

Invasion of Panama (1989–1990) Military leader Manuel Noriega deposed and the Panama Defense Force dissolved. President elect Guillermo Endara was sworn into office. Noriega was originally friendly to the U.S., was a CIA asset and was being paid $200k per year. Noriega was also receiving money from the drug cartels and laundering drug funds. With pressure on Noriega to curtail the drug trade and money laundering, he became less friendly and began accepting military aid from Cuba, Nicaragua and Libya.
